Brothers Keepers Program

President Obama announced the “My Brother’s Keeper” Initiative

a public-private effort to support America’s boys and young men 
of color.  In his remarks, the President spoke passionately about 
the effectiveness of positive alternatives to zero tolerance that 
keep all youth learning in school, reducing the chances boys of 
colors face for suspensions, expulsions, and ending up in the 
criminal justice system.
